SharpBox Developer Tutorials

To give all new developers and ISVs a fast and easy start with our API we support a list of tutorials. This tutorials are collected on this page and can be downloaded directly from here:
  • Tutorial 1 - SharpBox Quick Start Guide
    • This tutorial describes how to use SharpBox in a simple C# Console Application. Please use the trunk code for this tutorial until we released SharpBox 1.1.1. Some simplicity changes will be needed to implement the samples.
    • The sample code for this tutorial if you use SharpBox 1.1.0 is available here!
    • The sample code for this tutorial if you use SharpBox 1.1.1 is available here!
    • SharpBox 1.1 or bellow users - Please use this tutorial: Authorize a SharpBox based DropBox application
  • Tutorial 2 - Authorize a SharpBox based DropBox application
    • This tutorial describes how to implement the DropBox application authorization and security token generation process which is needed to become an application approved by the DropBox team.
    • The described process works on mobiles, fat clients and web applications as well
  • Tutorial 3 - The SharpBox Cloud Storage Provider Integration API (in preparation)
    • This tutorial describes how to write a new cloud storage provider to extend the protocol support of the API

DropBoxTokenIssuer gives javascript errors and browser unsupported messages. Doesn't work and does not generate the token.

Tutorial 2 is out-dated. Dropbox didn't approve my app which uses the Webbrowser control to visit the athorization URL. They say that I need to use the default web browser installed on the computer (like Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome). But I don't know how to implement this process in the default browser. Can someone here help me? Thanks.

Can't use "SharpBox Quick Start Guide" link. Adobe says that the file is damaged and cannot be repaired.
