Using the WebDAV Provider on CloudMe

Jul 29, 2011 at 12:59 AM

Hi,

This library is awesome and I was just attempting to use the WebDAV Provider on the CloudMe Service.

I can create folders etc correctly but when uploading a file it fails at 100% progress saying

{"This request requires buffering data to succeed."}

Any way I can turn this on as an option ?

Hi,

ok so it looks like CloudMe does not support a specific WebDAV protocol feature we use. Normally we should test it with an other WebDAV provider as well to check out the needed header.

Can you open an issues? I will have a look on it in the next days!

Cheers
Dirk

Hi,

I just added slightly changes and a working configuration for CloudMe with chekin http://sharpbox.codeplex.com/SourceControl/changeset/changes/77588

The problem with cloudme is, that this guys are only supporting buffered uploads because of authentication scheme. The WebDavConfiguration class got a new optional parameter which enabled buffered upload. The CloudMe config in SharpBox is using this option and all my unit tests worked :-) Use the following piece of code to get the right config class after you checked out our trunk branch:

Configuration = CloudStorage.GetCloudConfigurationEasy(nSupportedCloudConfigurations.CloudMe, cred);

Hi,

Works perfectly !

Question tho, is there a way to Cancel an upload. Perhaps some sort of
abort flag tha could me set in the Progress Handler.

Cheers.

Hi,

I just added in the trunk with check in http://sharpbox.codeplex.com/SourceControl/changeset/changes/77603 an option for this. You will see that the progresscallback gots an result value (boolean). If you return false, sharpbox will stop the up or download.

Cheers
